Our Story
Our journey began when Mohammad AlFayad, our head chef and owner, decided to leave his mark on the culinary world. A native of Damascus, Syria, Mohammad grew up in a family that valued good food and good company. He learned the art of cooking from his mother and developed a passion for creating dishes that brought people together. After migrating to the United States, Mohammad brought his love for Levantine cuisine to Rochester and opened Levantine's in 2019. His wife, Beth AlFayad, is the co-owner and administrator, responsible for managing the day-to-day operations.
