Our team is dedicated to providing a variety of counseling services to meet the unique needs of our clients. These services include individual therapy, couples counseling, and group therapy. We also offer specialized services for issues such as addiction, anger management, and grief and loss. Our experienced professionals are committed to helping you navigate through life's challenges and overcome obstacles that may be hindering your personal growth.

We are actively growing and adding new providers to better serve our community. We are working on getting contracted with all local insurances to ensure that everyone has access to our services. If you do not see your insurance on our website, please let us know so we can start the credentialing process.

Our team is led by Jacob Conklin, MS, LPC, NCC, who took over Counseling Associates of the Four States in late 2023 from Deanna Street. Jacob is a Licensed Professional in Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma, and he maintains certification from the National Board of Certified Counselors. With a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology from the University of Arkansas and a Master of Science (M.S.) also from the University of Arkansas, Jacob has a strong educational background in counseling.

Jacob has considerable clinical experience in residential treatment centers, intensive outpatient treatment programs, day treatment, and community settings. He has worked with clients presenting with a variety of concerns and issues, and he is skilled in providing services for individuals who have experienced trauma and abuse. As an EMDR trained provider, Jacob is equipped to help clients process and heal from their traumatic experiences.

Jacob believes that all individuals are experts on their own lives and that everyone occasionally needs some outside assistance sorting through their circumstances to discover what is best or most true for themselves. His specialized areas of service include working with trauma victims, individuals demonstrating offending behaviors, and incorporating family therapy when working with youth.
