Anishinabe Legal Services is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing high-quality legal assistance to low-income individuals living on or near the Leech Lake, Red Lake, and White Earth Reservations. Our mission is to ensure equal access to legal services for historically under-served communities, protecting their legal rights and Tribal Sovereignty.

Our History

Anishinabe Legal Services was established as an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and we are proud to be a Legal Services Corporation (LSC) grantee. We have offices located in Leech Lake, Red Lake, and White Earth, allowing us to serve the unique needs of each community. Our team is committed to providing free legal assistance to those who need it most, empowering them to navigate the legal system and assert their rights.
