I got bids from all the local remediation companies after discovering low levels of meth residue in a property I had under contract. AEI Decon came in at the low end of the price range, and we were impressed by Nate’s fast communication (even outside of normal business hours) and willingness to go above and beyond to give us the best service possible. His competitors all spoke very highly of him and his work. AEI Decon is the oldest remediation company in Utah, and they actually trained Meth Mob. They also use proprietary cleaning chemicals that other companies don't have access to.

After meeting with two other companies about stains on our ceiling after we had water leak through our roof, I was freaked. One company told me it would cost thousands of dollars to repair. Another told me they only did the demolition, and couldn't tell me how much it would be or how much their sister company would charge for restoration. And yet a third one wanted to charge me a ton of money and do everything. I was convinced we were breathing toxic mold spores and my family would soon be very ill. Enter Eric with AEI!
I just got a strong feeling to call him. Eric came to our home, told me it didn't look like mold, but just water stains. He's the first one who talked about doing a mold spore test to see how much mold was in the air, and THEN we'd discuss what needed to be done if anything. I anxiously waited about 5 days, preparing myself for the worst. Eric called me, as well as texted me the report. The mold was almost non-existent!! He said it was definitely "in line with a home that does not have a mold problem." He was super kind, reasonable on the price of the test (half of what one of the others quoted me), answered all my questions and didn't make me feel rushed. And when I thought of a couple more questions and called him a couple of days later, he got right back to me and put my concerns at ease.
He said he would have told me if there was a mold problem, that he can always use work, but that he wasn't going to lie and tell me there was one to make money! What an awesome, honest guy. If more people owned and ran their businesses like him, the world would be a much better place!

Eric is *awesome.* Seriously deserves his perfect score! He spent so much time with me today giving me an estimate and explaining the process. He was the fourth company we got an estimate from and was by far the best. But then when he couldn’t get to it as quickly as we wanted he recommended another team that is also awesome.

This is two months overdue but We loved working with Eric. He answered every question we asked and had solutions that saved us money without sacrificing the remediation needed. Spent two hours with us on his initial visit and was a calm reassuring voice that was so very much needed at a time where emotions were strong and concerns great. Eric and his team at AEI are amazing! I have been dealing with an uncooperative co-owner who contaminated my property. AEI and Eric in particular dealt with the issue professionally and kept me posted regard the issues with the property. Eric really went above and beyond in providing me with regular updates and documentation and the decontamination progressed. As much as I hope to not have to decontaminate another property, I would utilize AEI Decon in the future if I needed to and would highly recommend their services to anyone who needs it.

Eric, was so kind and helpful when I called about my rental. He went over another labs test results that were not calculated correctly and took the time to review all of the calculations and tests to ensure our house was not over the legal limits. Not sure where to begin. Nate was amazing! I was in the process of selling my home when an unexpected test came back positive. I had received a quote from the company the buyer recommended and was quoted pretty high. I decided to google search and AEI Decon popped up first with great reviews! I texted Nate on a weekend and he got back to me and was very friendly. He explained the process and gave me a better quote (half the price of the other)!!! My buyer's were uncertain about going with someone else. I asked Nate for help and he reached out to them and answered any questions and concerns they had. He did everything in a timely manner and kept me informed. He definitely went above and beyond to meet my needs without ever charging me "extra" fees. The amount he quoted, was the amount I paid. I would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future if needed.

Top notch and knows what he is doing. Nate was very kind and thorough. He helped with deciding the best course of action for some mold in a home my client was interested in purchasing. He came to meet us twice without knowing if my client would proceed at no charge. Unheard of in this day. I will use him again and highly recommend him to anyone. I wouldn't use anyone else.

There have been few times a service company has performed so admirably for me. They did everything one could ask - even after they were paid - then went further. I was referred to Nate by our home inspector after some low mold/dust issues came up in pre-purchase inspection. Nate came out for a free consultation to look at the space and made recommendations for things we could do to improve the air quality by piggy backing on another project we already had planned (so no revenue to him). Super nice and extremely patient with all of our questions.
