The Weston Wing

Weston Wing Preschool and Childcare is a non-profit preschool and childcare program located in Weston, Massachusetts. Our mission is to provide a nurturing and educational environment for children from 15 months to 5 years old. Our programs are designed to support the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of our students.

Our Philosophy

At Weston Wing, we believe that children learn and grow best through play and exploration. Our play-based curriculum is child-initiated and emerges naturally from the interests of our students. We believe that a strong social, emotional, and physical foundation will set the stage for a child's future cognitive and academic success. Our experienced and certified teachers are dedicated to providing a safe and engaging environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.

Our Programs

We offer a range of programs to meet the unique needs of each child and family. Our programs include:

• Young Toddler (15 months to 2.4 years): Our part-time and full-time programs are designed to support the cognitive, social, and emotional development of our young students.
• Older Toddler (2 to 2.9 years): Our part-time and full-time programs continue to build on the foundation established in our Young Toddler program, with a focus on social and emotional development.
• Preschool (2.9 to 3.8 years): Our Preschool program is designed to prepare children for kindergarten and beyond, with a focus on literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
• Pre-Kindergarten I (3.9 to 4.5 years) and Pre-Kindergarten II (4.6 to 5 years): Our Pre-Kindergarten programs are designed to prepare children for kindergarten and beyond, with a focus on literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
• Summer Program: Our Summer Program is a nine-week program that provides a fun and engaging experience for children during the summer break.

Our Facilities

Our facilities are designed to support the needs of our students and families. Our building has six large, bright classrooms, and our half-acre playground is specifically designed for children, with a sandlot, climbing structure, swings, sledding hill, paved bike yard, and organic garden.

Our Faculty and Staff

Our team of educators and staff are dedicated to providing the highest level of care and education for our students. Our faculty and staff are certified by the Department of Early Education and Care, and they participate in ongoing professional development to stay current on the latest research and education practices.

Admissions

Our admissions process begins in February of the previous school year, with the submission of a completed application accompanied by a non-refundable $75.00 application fee. Applying families are then invited to tour the facility and meet the director and teachers. We are proud to offer flexible scheduling options, including part-time and full-time programs, to meet the needs of our busy families.
