Company Profile

Our story began in July 1983, when Allman Electric Corporation was established with the vision of becoming a leading electrical contractor in the Fayetteville area, extending our reach statewide and into South Carolina. Since our inception, we have grown significantly, earning a reputation for our expertise in commercial, residential, and service electrical contract wiring. Our robust team, headed by President Rick Stephens and Vice President Larry Allman, comprises highly skilled professionals with a combined experience of over 119 years.

Our comprehensive service offerings are tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients. We have dedicated departments specializing in service, residential new construction, and commercial new construction. Each department is supervised by experienced professionals who work closely with our clients, ensuring that their specific requirements are met with precision and efficiency.

Our Team

Larry Allman, our Vice President and majority shareholder, brings over four decades of experience in the electrical field. His journey began in 1968 with specialized training at Rowan Technical Institute in Salisbury, North Carolina. He honed his skills through eight years of hands-on field experience and subsequently gained seven years of valuable management experience with Watson Electric Company. Since establishing Allman Electric Corporation in 1983, Larry has proven himself as an exceptional leader and owner, guiding our company to continued success.

His commitment to professional development is evident in his numerous certificates of achievement, including:

• Electrical Estimating and Contract Management
• Completion of extensive management consulting programs through George S. May International Company
• National Electrical Code classes
• Certifications in Employee Attitudes through the American Management Association

Larry actively participates in ongoing continuing education programs for the National Electrical Code, ensuring that he remains at the forefront of industry advancements, as certified by the Board of Directors of Electrical Contracting for the state of North Carolina.

Rick Stephens, our President, joined the electrical industry in 1979 and has held an Unlimited Electrical License since 1989. He played a pivotal role in the formation and startup of Allman Electric Corporation. In 1984, he became a co-owner, further solidifying his commitment to our company's growth and success. Rick's expertise is further underscored by his certificate of achievement in Electrical Estimating and Contract Management for Commercial Electrical Construction
