Our Story

In 1995, Alcides Silva, affectionately known as Big Al, immigrated to the United States from Cape Verde. After settling in, he and his wife, Claire, began building a life together, starting a family, and working tirelessly to support them. Big Al's journey, though filled with challenges, was marked by determination and a strong work ethic. As he navigated various jobs, he struggled to find one that balanced financial stability with the time he could spend with his family. This dilemma led him to contemplate a different path forward, one that would allow him to spend quality time with his three sons while also providing for his family's future.

Fast forward to 2009, Big Al and Sons LLC was officially established. This venture was born out of a desire to create a business that would not only generate a steady income but also provide a platform for Big Al to spend quality time with his sons. As the company grew, so did the involvement of his sons. They each took on distinct roles within the business, with one handling bookkeeping and the others assisting with landscaping and lawn care. Throughout its history, Big Al and Sons LLC has remained committed to delivering exceptional customer service at competitive prices.
