The history of Scott R. Frick, CPA, P.C. can be traced back to the early 1960's in Kendallville, Indiana. It all began when an Internal Revenue Service agent named Allen Nelson audited a taxpayer who was represented by an accountant practicing in Kendallville. That examination eventually led to the establishment of a new firm in 1968 by Allen Nelson. His practice prospered enough to allow Scott R. Frick to join him in 1992, and together they formed a new firm, Nelson & Frick, P.C. in 1993. Allen Nelson retired in 1996, and Scott R. Frick took over the reins, renaming the firm to its current name. The firm has grown from two staff members to the current four, along with two part-time associates.
