Amy Nordstrom has been captivated by art, design, and sculpture since she was six years old. Growing up in Boulder, Colorado, Amy was inspired by the natural beauty surrounding her. This early exposure to the wonders of nature would become a lifelong source of inspiration for her work. During her childhood, Amy had the opportunity to meet world-renowned sculptor, Glenna Goodacre, who asked Amy to model her hands for a piece she was working on called 'Song of China'. This pivotal experience further solidified Amy's passion for art and sculpture.

Amy went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, with a double emphasis in Sculpture and Metalsmithing from the Metropolitan State University of Denver. In 2004, she founded Amy Nordstrom Jewelry and opened her studio in the heart of the San Francisco Bay - Sausalito, California. In a world of mass production, Amy's distinct work is inspired by nature and forged by hand. Every piece she makes is bent, cut and hammered out of a vision that literally takes shape in her hands. She does not use computer software or sketches, making each piece truly unique.

Each piece of jewelry is made of carefully selected gold and silver, with consciously sourced gemstones and fair trade diamonds. Amy continues to be inspired everyday by the spectacular natural beauty of Marin County, music of all kinds, and her husband and two children.
