The Dance Company, established in 1989, has been a cornerstone of the Springfield community for over three decades. Our founders, Lori Lemieux, instilled a passion and commitment to dance that continues to thrive and inspire both our students and staff. We proudly carry on this legacy under the guidance of our current directors, Courtney Normand and Arianna Surprise, who are both alumni and instructors of the studio.

At The Dance Company, we are dedicated to fostering a friendly and supportive community where our dancers can build self-confidence and grow. We provide a welcoming environment for everyone, whether they are embarking on their first dance class or are seasoned dancers. Our mission is to teach dance in a relaxing, enjoyable, and stress-free atmosphere.

In 2017, The Dance Company was passed on to the capable hands of Courtney Normand and Arianna Surprise, both of whom share the same passion for dance and commitment to the studio's values as our original founders. Together, we continue to uphold the legacy of The Dance Company and our dedication to spreading the love of dance throughout the community.

Performance Opportunities

We are proud to offer numerous performance opportunities for our dancers, allowing them to showcase their talents and progress. Our annual recital is a highlight for many, serving as a beautiful presentation of our students' hard work and dedication. It is a wonderful event where family and friends gather to celebrate and appreciate the art of dance. Additionally, we host various other performances and events throughout the year, providing our dancers with diverse experiences and stages to shine.

Our Studio

Our studio is located at 1492 Allen Street, Springfield, MA 01118, in the Bicentennial Plaza. Our convenient back lot parking ensures a stress-free arrival and departure for our students and their families.

Our facility offers spacious studios with state-of-the-art floors designed to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our dancers. We take pride in our clean and well-maintained studios, ensuring a pleasant experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
