What to Expect

During your first session, you will undergo a full health history examination, including questions about your symptoms, health, and lifestyle. Your acupuncturist will also check your pulse and tongue, and conduct a physical exam. This information will help create a comprehensive diagnosis. Your initial acupuncture session may last from 45-90 minutes, and follow-up sessions from 30-60 minutes. It's important to come prepared with any questions you may have and to wear loose, comfortable clothing.
