2. Behavioral and Psychosocial Services: Our team is trained to help families address a variety of behavioral and psychosocial concerns, such as ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, chronic health needs, and common illnesses and conditions.

3. Nutrition and Healthy Living Guidance: We provide education and support for maintaining a balanced diet, establishing healthy habits, and managing issues such as obesity, allergies, and eating disorders.

4. School-Aged Children Services: Our team understands the unique needs of school-aged children, offering support for academic success, sports and fitness, sexual health, and substance abuse prevention.

5. Counseling Services: Dr. Steadman has a counselor on staff who provides individual and family therapy for a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.

Meet Our Staff

Our dedicated team includes experienced professionals who are passionate about delivering excellent care for children and families.

• Dr. Brent Steadman M.D.: A Texas native, Dr. Steadman received his M.D. from Texas Tech H.S.C. and has practiced pediatrics in Abilene for over 25 years.
• Amber Walker: A former science teacher and Texas A&M graduate, Amber is a valued member of our front desk team.
• Sharon Conyer: Serving at the front desk, Sharon brings over 37 years of experience as a married mother and grandmother.
• Devyn Snow: After starting with our team in 2016 and returning to school at Hardin-Simmons University, Devyn is now a dedicated medical assistant and mother.
• Kyra Atchison RN: A BSN degree holder, Kyra's nursing experience and love of the outdoors make her an essential part of Steadman Pediatrics.
• Andrea Mendoza: As our Registered Certified Medical Assistant, Andrea brings over 13 years of experience working for Dr. Steadman and warmly welcomes families and patients.
• Camille Ward Counselor: With over 11 years at Steadman Pediatrics, Camille has earned a Master's in Clinical Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy and now accepts clients.
