The Crossing Cooperative Nursery School (CCNS) has a rich tradition that spans over 50 years. Founded by a group of parents, CCNS was established to provide a unique preschool experience for children. Today, the school remains committed to its goal of creating a child-centered learning environment where parents are actively involved. Our school is situated in the former Washington Crossing Elementary School, located on two beautiful acres of Bucks County countryside. The building has maintained its old-fashioned schoolhouse charm while continually evolving to meet the needs of a modern, progressive nursery school.
Our Programs
At CCNS, we offer a variety of programs designed to cater to different age groups. Our Wee Play and Learn program is tailored for children aged 2-3 years, focusing on games and activities that promote intelligence and creativity. For older children, our Young Threes, Older Threes, Young Fours, and Pre-Kindergarten programs offer a more structured environment with monthly calendars of themes and activities to keep families informed and engaged. Our Kindergarten Enrichment program is designed for children aged 5-6 years, providing a comprehensive educational experience. We also offer CCNS Enrichment Programs, which include activities like yoga, gym, music, and art, ensuring a well-rounded educational experience for our students.

Our dedicated team of teachers is committed to providing a nurturing and engaging environment for our students. Each class is led by a degreed lead teacher and an assistant teacher, ensuring personalized attention and care. Our teachers are experienced in their fields and are passionate about helping children grow and develop.
