About Our Owner

Hi! I'm Annette. I graduated top of my cosmetology class in 1998 expecting to have the world at my feet. However, my career took a different path than what I had anticipated. It's better. In 2009, chemical allergies and autoimmune disease changed my life and caused my focus to shift dramatically. I had to change the way I approached my view on beauty or leave an industry I loved.

As I navigated this new journey, I realized it was no coincidence. I was being called to meet the needs of many individuals who suffered the same health issues but lacked the knowledge to help themselves. I spent countless hours researching ingredients, and brands trying to find a way to offer amazing results without sacrificing my health or the health of my clients.

No joke - it was a rocky road for a while. Green chemistry was very new, and the beauty industry was focused on performance - not health. My biggest hurdle was trying to find brands that offered true transparency. I couldn't help my clients avoid ingredients that were not disclosed. The brands I have chosen to partner with are committed to transparency and the health and wellness of the consumer. I only partner with brands that fully disclose all ingredients, formulate without the use of known carcinogens, and are environmentally friendly.
