Youth Dance Theatre

Ballet Chelsea is a multifaceted arts organization that is dedicated to providing high-caliber dance training, arts education, and performance opportunities to students from various mid-Michigan communities. We are committed to excellence and have been recognized for our achievements, including the 2017 Small Business Leadership Award from Chelsea Chamber of Commerce and the 2016 Touchstone Educator of the Year Award for our founder, Wendi DuBois.

Our story began with hard work and generous community support, which allowed us to grow into a renowned arts organization. Today, we continue to enrich many lives through our performances, lecture demonstrations, and our Adaptive Dance Program. Our mission at Ballet Chelsea is to build strong individuals through high-caliber training and performance excellence while giving back to the community that supports us. Community Outreach

At Ballet Chelsea, we believe that dance is for every age and every ability. That's why we offer a variety of programs and services designed to reach a wide range of individuals in our community. Our Adaptive Dance Program, for example, provides dance classes for people with disabilities, while our adult classes offer a fun and challenging way for adults to stay active and engaged in the arts.

We also partner with local schools and community organizations to bring dance education and performances to underserved populations. Through these partnerships, we aim to foster a love for dance and a sense of community among all members of our community.
