Our Story

"Now that's what I call Code 3 Service." Code 3 Catering was founded in 1970 by Ron Sr., a retired firefighter who loved to cook. While serving on the fire department, Ron was known for preparing delicious meals for his crew. One morning, the fire chief called Ron at home with an unexpected request. The caterer for his daughter's wedding that was scheduled for 11 am had suddenly become ill. "Can you help?" the chief asked. Ron Sr., always willing to lend a hand, readily agreed. When the family and guests arrived for the reception, they were greeted with a magnificent spread of food. Impressed, the chief exclaimed, "Now that's what I call Code 3 Service!"

In the fire service, Code 3 signifies "respond at full speed with lights and sirens activated." This dedication to prompt, reliable service resonated deeply with Ron Sr., who decided to name his catering company Code 3 Catering. From that day forward, the name became synonymous with exceptional food and unwavering commitment to client satisfaction.
