Our Founder
Our founder, Bethany Bartlett-Tomko, is a Cherryfield, Maine native who knew she loved hair and fashion from an early age. She graduated high school and attended college at the University of Maine, then went on to graduate Cosmetology School in Portland, Maine. With over 18 years in the industry, her journey to owning and creating PurStrands Salon started under the tutelage of the same mentor in Portland, ME for 12 years. Becoming a Master Goldwell colorist, and Hair extension guru while honing her craft. She moved to Florida to escape the cold, like so many do, and quickly became the manager of the Salon department at NSpa at the Delray Beach Marriott.

We offer a wide range of services, including cutting, coloring, styling, and make-up. Our menu includes women's haircuts, men's haircuts, Ouidad haircuts, Kerasilk keratin straightening, Kerasilk conditioning, and more. We also offer blow dry, up-dos, and full-face and airbrush make-up services. Our prices vary depending on the service and length and texture of your hair, but we offer complimentary consultations to provide you with an exact quote for your desired service.
