Founder Phil Rotherham embarked on his career in 1979, establishing Rotherham Construction as a General Contracting and Construction Management firm in 1983. Since 1994, Bozeman has been our home base, and we proudly hold licenses to operate in Montana, North Dakota, and Wyoming. Our reach extends across the region, specializing in commercial and residential projects, with a particular focus on Big Sky, Bozeman, and Eastern Montana.

Our First Interstate Bank building at 202 West Main Street even received the 2005 Award for Excellence in the Category of New Commercial Construction from the Bozeman Beautification Board.

• Big Sky: Our Big Sky contributions include hotels, condominiums, the Lone Peak Cinema, single-family residences, a blend of retail, office, and residential mixed-use buildings, grocery stores, and even a fire station.

• Eastern Montana: From Miles City to Glendive, Sidney to Baker, our Eastern Montana division has built a legacy of success, constructing municipal structures, retail spaces, single-family homes, and multi-family developments. With our home base in Glendive, we actively seek out and complete projects throughout this vibrant region.
