Davis Carpet, located at 750 E. Main in Yukon, Oklahoma, has been a family-owned and operated business since November 1969. The company was founded by Ray Davis, who initially started his career as a Fireman and worked part-time at a carpet store. With a loan from his parents, Lee and Ellen Davis, Ray embarked on his new journey into the flooring world. After years of successful operation in Enid and Bryan, Texas, Ray moved his business back to Oklahoma City, where it outgrew its 8,000 square foot building. This led to the relocation to Yukon in 1999, where Davis Carpet now operates from a 12,000 square foot facility.
