Our History

Sevier Funeral Home is a family-owned and operated business that has been serving the Chickasha and Tuttle communities for generations. Our roots trace back to the early 1900s when Chickasha Funeral Home was established. In 1941, Mr. and Mrs. Jodie Sevier took the helm, transforming the funeral home into Sevier/Chickasha Funeral Home. Their commitment to compassionate service and unwavering support for families in need set the foundation for the legacy that continues today. In 1966, Jodie Sevier expanded the family's funeral services by incorporating Sowers Funeral Home in Tuttle, further solidifying Sevier Funeral Home's presence in the region.

Now, Sevier Funeral Home is proudly owned and operated by Larry Sevier and his daughter, April Kile. They carry on the tradition of personalized care and dignified arrangements, ensuring that every family receives the respectful and attentive service they deserve during a difficult time.
