About Us

Ace Pest Control is owned and operated by John and Kala Cantelow. With over eight years of experience in the pest control industry, we have developed a deep understanding of the most effective methods for controlling and preventing pests. Prior to entering the pest control business, we spent many years as commercial fishermen in southeast Alaska, where we met and began our journey together. Our experiences in this industry have given us a unique perspective on the importance of maintaining a healthy and balanced ecosystem, both in nature and in your home or business.

Our Services

At Ace Pest Control, we offer a wide range of services designed to help you manage and eliminate pests from your home or business. Our services include:

• Annual Preventative Maintenance Spray: This affordable and effective service provides four quarterly perimeter sprays from March to October. If any issues arise between sprays, we will take care of them at no extra charge.
• Rodent Control: Our rodent control services include a thorough inspection of your crawl space and interior/exterior, blocking any access points, and trapping/baiting.
• Ants: We offer one-time treatments for ants, including carpenter ants, which can cause significant damage to structures and trees.
• New Construction Pre-Treatments: For new or remodeled homes at the dried-in stage, we apply a borate preservative to all wood surfaces to inhibit mold growth and kill wood-destroying organisms.
• Powder Post Beetle Sub-Area Treatment: This service involves applying a wood preservative with an insecticide to all surfaces of wood to kill Anobiid beetles and carpenter ants.
• Honey Bee Extraction: If you have a swarm of honey bees where you don't want them, we can safely relocate them or put you in touch with someone who can.
• Wood Destroying Organism Inspections: We are licensed to perform structural pest inspections for wood-destroying organisms, which are typically required when refinancing or buying a new home.
