At Martial Art Fitness Centers, Inc., we are dedicated to providing a comprehensive martial arts training program for individuals of all ages and skill levels. Established in 1975, our center has produced over 200 black belts, many of whom are still teaching and training today. Our programs include Taekwondo, Hapkido, Jiujitsu, Filipino Arts, Okinawan Karate & Weaponry, Aikido, Police Defensive Tactics, Basic Self-Defense, Fitness Boot Camp, TaiChi, and Kung-fu. Each program is designed to improve not only your physical fitness but also your mental discipline, self-respect, and self-awareness.
Our head instructors are highly experienced and trained in various martial arts styles. Master Fred Gommels, our Director, has been training since 1973 and holds multiple black belts in various styles. Master Kirby Strissel, our Administrator of Leadership, began training in 1990 and has also trained with renowned Masters and GrandMasters. Sifu Gretel Quinones, our Tai Chi Chuan instructor, has been training since 1981 and specializes in Tai Chi Ch'uan and Tai Chi Tui Shou.
We offer a range of classes for adults and children, including private lessons, group classes, and specialized programs like our Fitness Boot Camp and TaiChi classes. Our instructors are dedicated to helping you achieve your goals, whether it's improving your physical fitness, learning self-defense techniques, or enhancing your mental discipline.
