Don Schnieders Excavating (DSE) Company has been a trusted name in Mid-Missouri for over fifty years, serving both residential and commercial clients with a comprehensive range of construction and excavation services. Founded in 1964 by Don Schnieders, the company began as a one-man operation fueled by a tireless work ethic and a commitment to exceeding expectations. Don's dedication to his craft and his clients quickly earned him a solid reputation, propelling DSE's growth and expanding its reach throughout the region.

In 1977, DSE ventured into the commercial excavation market, further solidifying its position as a leading provider in the industry. This strategic move led to the expansion of the team, with staff numbers growing steadily to over 50 dedicated employees today. Bruce Bax, Don and his wife Ruth Ann's son-in-law, joined the company in 1984 on a temporary basis. This temporary role blossomed into a long-lasting partnership, spanning over three decades. Bruce's expertise and commitment to DSE's core values made him an invaluable asset, leading to his eventual ownership alongside his wife, Ann, and partners, Don and Jane Rhea.

Since 1994, the four partners have proudly carried forward the legacy of honesty, integrity, and exceptional service that Don Schnieders established. Under their leadership, DSE has continued to innovate and adapt, staying at the forefront of the industry while maintaining its dedication to its clients and employees.
