Pleasant Creek Campground is nestled in a wooded setting along a tributary of the Vermillion River, surrounded by rolling hills and mature trees. We are located 5 miles from the entrance of Starved Rock State Park in the gateway town of Oglesby, Illinois. Our campground offers a variety of camping experiences including Tent Camping, RV Sites, and Cabins. For 2024, we've added a new wading pond so there's even more fun for the whole family! Our peaceful surroundings and abundance of activities make us the perfect spot for a family reunion or a quiet getaway. Whether you're looking to explore hiking trails, forests, rivers, and lush canyons or enjoy zip-lining, kayaking, sky diving, and more, we've got something for everyone. Our Amenities and Activities

We offer a range of amenities including a spring-fed, stocked fishing pond, a game room with ping pong, arcade games, and more, a well-supplied general store, a playground, and an array of outdoor games. Creekside campsites are available, along with basketball, volleyball, and tetherball. We also have a dump station on site and new bathhouses and showers. Water and electric are available at most sites, and we're just minutes from Starved Rock State Park and Matthiessen State Park.
