Our History
Our history dates back to the year 1968 when Don Webster founded Town & Country Glass in Long Beach, CA. He began the small glass shop with a vision of providing glazing services to local businesses and residences; the success was immediate. To help with the growing demand, Louis DeRudder joined in 1980 and together, watched the company grow into one of the elite glazing contractors in Southern California.
In January of 1999, Boomer DeRudder and Sean Webster acquired ownership of Town & Country Glass and under their leadership, continued to grow the firm taking on jobs previously considered too large for the once small company. As a result, Town & Country Glass has evolved into a major glazing company, which provides glass and glazing services throughout Southern California.
Our Services
Our services are comprehensive and all-inclusive to each and every project. From mock-ups and layout to installation and weather-proofing, our goal is to provide the customer with a completed project from start to finish. In addition, our Project Management Team looks at every job individually, thoroughly reviewing all construction documents and drawings, and performing jobsite inspections to minimize the possibility of problems arising prior to, or during installation. We try to make recommendations for cost savings and schedule improvements when and where it makes sense.
Furthermore, our glaziers have numerous years of hands-on experience. Many have been with us the majority, if not their entire, glazing career. They know how to look ahead and communicate to make sure your job progresses on schedule.
Our Products
We, at Town & Country Glass, are a company that is dedicated to providing quality glass and glazing services to general contractors and owners throughout Southern California. We currently represent several curtain wall and aluminum storefront manufacturers including Arcadia, EFCO, Kawneer and Oldcastle Building Envelope. Additionally, we are the largest supplier of Torrance Steel Windows and Doors in the United States and one of the original dealers representing Fleetwood Aluminum Products. What's more, our firm has extensive experience with C.R. Laurence Architectural Glass Doors and Hardware, Blumcraft ALL-Glass Entry Systems, specialized glazing suppliers including Pulp Studio and 3form panel systems.
Our Projects
Our team at Town & Country Glass has completed numerous projects throughout Southern California. These projects include Amerige Heights, Birch, Blue Heron, Boulder, Burbank, Canyon Lake, Carnival, Granola, PAAMCO, Sea Base, Shady Canyon, and Yusen. Each project was completed with our first priority in mind, ensuring the success of our clients and the quality of our work.
