Our journey began in Littleton, Colorado, in May 2000, when Robert M Pate founded the company. With over 25 years of experience in the excavation and concrete industry, Robert Pate is still actively involved in the daily operations of the company and can often be found on project sites. His dedication to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction has been instrumental in expanding the company from a small six-man operation to its current status as a leading commercial excavation and concrete contractor.

For more than 15 years, our clients have trusted us to lay down the earthwork, pour their site concrete for their subdivisions, banks, office parks, restaurants, shopping centers, and industrial parks. Our Services

At Pate Concrete Contractors, we offer a range of services that cater to the needs of our clients. Our primary focus is on Earthwork and Horizontal Concrete.

• Earthworks: We provide Erosion Control and Earthwork with our fleet of modern machinery, skilled machine operators, qualified site foremen, and experienced project managers to ensure top-notch quality.

• Horizontal Concrete: We provide labor for pouring concrete slabs, curbs, pans, and much more. Our skilled workers put quality first and ensure that every pour comes out better than the last.

Commitment to Safety

At Pate Concrete Contractors, safety is our top priority. We strive to provide a safe work environment for all of its employees, subcontractors, and clients. Safe working conditions are achieved through efficient communication, thorough hazards analysis, and continuous training. In addition, we adhere to all regulatory requirements (state, federal, and local), and maintain best-industry practices.

Management also recognizes that every employee shares in the responsibility for safety on the job; consequently, safe work practices and timely reporting of incidents and potential accidents (i.e., near misses and unsafe conditions) are a condition of employment. We take a proactive approach to conduct our safety and health program. Incidents and near misses are investigated, and the pertinent information that is uncovered during the investigation is discussed during the following safety meetings, tail-gate topics, and pre-job JSA meetings.

We encouraged all employees, subcontractors, and clients to provide suggestions and establish high personal goals for eliminating accidents and injuries. Employees are taught environmental regulation and pollution prevention practices that are applicable to their operating responsibilities. Employees are expected to perform their job in a way that complies with regulatory requirements and company policies, standards, and guidelines.
