At Beat the Room, we're a family-owned business dedicated to providing an immersive escape room experience for groups of all ages. Our passion for puzzle-solving and teamwork has led us to create unique, themed rooms that encourage creative thinking and collaboration. We're proud to offer private games, a variety of themes, and exceptional customer service to ensure each experience is exciting and memorable.

Our journey began in July 2016 with our first escape room location, and since then, we've expanded to a second location in Vacaville, CA. Over the years, we've continually strived to enhance our services and provide a welcoming environment for our guests.

Our Rooms

We currently offer a range of thematically different experiences at Beat the Room. From the Victorian 1st floor study of the great Sherlock Holmes to the depths of a 1700s pirate ship Captain's quarters, we design each room with meticulous attention to detail. This helps you suspend disbelief and fully immerse yourself in the game.

Each room is carefully crafted to provide an exceptional experience, with most gameplay focusing on teamwork and creative problem-solving rather than fear or fright. However, if you're looking for a scare, be sure to book Krampus: Violent Night!

Some of our featured rooms include:

• Sherlock and The Case of the Gruesome Four: Newgate Prison houses the notorious Gruesome Four: Professor Moriarty, Jack the Ripper, Sweeney Todd, and Edward Hyde. Rumors have spread of their plan to work together in constructing a bomb to plant in the city.
• Krampus: Violent Night: Tonight is Krampusnacht, and you have been deemed naughty. You hide in your room, underneath the bed covers as you ask for forgiveness. Suddenly the air becomes freezing. You hear the rattle of chains and the ringing of bells. "He's here, " you whisper to yourself.
• Prohibition: It is 1928, the peak of the Prohibition era. Your bootlegger gang is trying to secure a reliable booze supplier. However, the much more powerful and influential gang of Al "Scarface" Capone has managed to get a hold of all the local suppliers and they will not disclose their contacts.

What to Expect

While you wait for your room, we have a large, well-lit lobby offering ample seating, water, and board games. Get the party started by playing a game in the lobby while you wait for your room. Our space is welcoming and perfect for your next event!

Our rooms are designed for the customer to solve an objective, not just find a key. So, if you're worried about getting claustrophobic, many of our experiences do not involve you being "locked" in a room. Instead, you are trying to solve a mystery before the time is up! Enjoy puzzle-solving fun, without the anxiety of feeling "trapped."

We can accommodate groups of up to 60, making this a great team-building experience, holiday party, or group celebration. Whether you're planning a corporate event, birthday party, or any other special occasion, we can help you create an unforgettable experience.
