Alicia's Cookery, Catering & Gifts is a family-owned business that has been a staple in the community for over 40 years. Our mission is to provide a constant and available resource for food and community within our local area. We strive to offer a spectacular experience with every visit, showcasing our passion and culture through our menu offerings. Our restaurant and gift shop are closed on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and occasional holidays.

Our Story

Alicia's passion for food, family, and good cooking began with her father, Rudy Perez, at his iconic Mexicatessen in Whittier and Brea. In 1978, Alicia opened her first restaurant, and since then, the business has grown to become one of Orange County's finest quality-driven caterers and restaurants. With a focus on seasonally inspired foods and traditional family-friendly classics, Alicia's has built a reputation for its finely sourced and artfully presented menu offerings. Over the years, Alicia's three daughters have all played a significant role in the success of the business, with Desiree now being the driving force behind the company.
