The Owner
Andrew Spindler-Roesle is the owner of the shop and a lifelong collector who is passionate about beauty and interesting art and objects. Andrew's background in Spanish Literature and his experience working at Sotheby's Institute in London have greatly influenced his approach to collecting and dealing in antiques. He is guided by the belief that beauty comes in many forms and is committed to sharing his love for unique and uncommon objects with others.
The Shop
Established in 1998, Andrew Spindler Antiques & Design has been featured in local and national publications and has been recognized as one of the best antiques shops in the area. Our shop is located in the historic town of Essex, Massachusetts, and is nestled along the scenic North Shore. We take great care in curating our selection of antiques to ensure that each item is beautiful, unusual, and full of character.
Our Inventory
Our inventory consists of a wide range of antiques, including fine period furniture, 20th century design, works of art, decorations, lighting, and curiosities from the 17th-20th centuries. We offer a variety of unusual and uncommon objects, including neoclassical English Black Basalt pottery, original Folly Cove Designers hand block printed textiles, and 19th century English white ironstone pottery.
