Summit Equestrian Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization nestled in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Founded in 2010, we're driven by a passion to foster meaningful connections between people and horses, while empowering individuals to overcome challenges and achieve personal growth.

Our vision is to create a welcoming and supportive environment where people and horses can work in partnership to foster well-being, build resilience, and unlock their full potential.

Equine-Assisted Services

Our innovative programs combine equine expertise with therapeutic practices to address various physical and emotional challenges. We offer:

• Individual and group therapy sessions: Led by certified equine therapists, sessions focus on anxiety reduction, trauma healing, stress management, and building social skills.
• Therapeutic riding program: Participants learn basic horsemanship skills while experiencing the therapeutic benefits of equine-assisted therapy.
• Corporate team building: Build trust, communication, and collaboration through interactive activities with our gentle giants.

Community Outreach

We believe in giving back to the community. Some of our initiatives include:

• Allison's Race: An annual fundraiser that raises funds for veteran suicide prevention and animal rescue.
• Trail to Zero: A 20-mile horseback ride to raise awareness about veteran suicide and support BraveHearts Therapeutic Riding.
