Rainbow Movers was founded in the Boston area in 1918 by a young James McEnaney who was returning from WWI. Mr. McEnaney fought as part of the 42nd Infantry Division known as the "Rainbow Division" under Douglas MacArthur. As tribute to his fellow soldiers, McEnaney named Rainbow Movers after this 42nd Infantry. James McEnaney began Rainbow Movers with just one horse, a wagon, and a dream. Today, Rainbow Movers is one of the fastest-growing moving services in the New England area.
