Access Carroll

Access Carroll is a non-profit organization based in Maryland, dedicated to providing integrated medical, dental, and behavioral services to low-income residents of Carroll County. We are committed to delivering high-quality, coordinated, and comprehensive care that is culturally sensitive, community-based, and accountable. Our mission is to champion health for all, and we are proud to accept Maryland Medicaid insurance.

That's why we offer a range of services designed to meet the unique needs of our patients. Our primary care services include preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care. Our dental services include routine cleanings, fillings, extractions, and other restorative procedures. Our behavioral health services include individual and group therapy, psychiatric evaluation and medication management, and case management.

Our integrated care model means that we tie together fragmented pieces of health and social care services into a seamless and organized system of care delivery. We do this by coordinating care across different providers and specialists, ensuring that our patients receive the right care at the right time. This approach not only improves health outcomes but also reduces healthcare costs.

Our Services

*Primary Care Services*: Our primary care services include preventive care, such as annual physicals and immunizations, as well as management of chronic conditions like diabetes, asthma, and hypertension. We also provide acute care for illnesses and injuries.

*Dental Services*: Our dental services include routine cleanings, fillings, extractions, crowns, and bridges. We also provide oral cancer screenings and education on oral health.

*Behavioral Health Services*: Our behavioral health services include individual and group therapy, psychiatric evaluation and medication management, and case management. We treat a range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.

*Integrated Care*: Our integrated care model means that we coordinate care across different providers and specialists, ensuring that our patients receive the right care at the right time. This approach not only improves health outcomes but also reduces healthcare costs.

Our Impact

Access Carroll has a significant impact on the health and well-being of the low-income residents of Carroll County. In 2021, we provided care to over 6,000 patients, delivered over 20,000 medical and dental visits, and administered over 1,500 vaccines. Our integrated care model has resulted in improved health outcomes, reduced healthcare costs, and increased patient satisfaction.
