Pool Distribution Services

In addition to our scheduled LTL services, we also offer pool distribution services that can help you save money on shipping costs. Pool distribution is the delivery of orders to numerous destination points within Empire's area of service, where regular LTL shipments are combined into a volume shipment (truckload) and shipped to a regional Empire terminal. Once received, the pool is off-loaded, sorted, and segregated by location and customer, then reloaded onto local delivery vehicles for delivery to the final destination. This service can help you save on handling costs and ensure that your goods are delivered on time and in perfect condition.
