Our Story
Our journey began in the 1940s when Alfred and Margaret Guggisberg, a Swiss cheesemaker and his wife, came to the United States to make cheese. Alfred honed his craft at the prestigious Der Molkereischule Zurrannt in Switzerland, and his expertise led to the creation of the iconic Baby Swiss cheese. Eric Guggisberg, son of Alfred and Margaret, followed in his parents' footsteps, and his wife Julia joined him to create a duo that would change the world of wine-making. Together, they crafted wine using recipes passed down through generations.
