The Michigan Pharmacists Association (MPA) is a state professional society that has been dedicated to serving Michigan's pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and student pharmacists in all settings of practice for over 130 years. Our mission is to unite and empower pharmacy professionals through engagement, advancement, and advocacy to optimize care and pursue health equality.

Our History

Established in 1883, MPA has a rich history of providing its members with the tools, resources, and support needed to advance the profession of pharmacy and provide quality patient care. Over the years, we have worked tirelessly to promote the role of pharmacists as essential healthcare providers and advocates for patients.

Our Services

MPA offers a wide range of services to its members, including practice resources, education and events, advocacy, and more. Our practice resources include pharmacy practice guidance, patient education library, pharmacy practice FAQs, and pharmacy law questions. We also provide opportunities for members to get involved in advocacy efforts, including the Advocacy Action Center, Legislative Events, and the Pharmacy Advocacy Response Team (PART). Additionally, we offer a range of education and events, including the Annual Convention & Exposition, Online CE Programs, Pharmacy Technician Programs, and more.
