At Practical Flooring, Inc., we have been serving the flooring needs of Las Vegas and surrounding areas since the early '90s. Our journey began with the vision of our founder, Bernie Roybal, Jr., who saw an opportunity in the looming construction boom that was about to hit the region. Bernie, along with his wife Danette, took charge of their new company's business office, handling billing, client accounts, payroll, and the pre-bidding process. Together, they laid the foundation for their MWBE-certified company, which has now become a regional leader in the flooring industry.

Our Services

Over the years, we have built a reputation for providing top-notch flooring services to commercial centers, malls, grocery stores, schools, hospitals, medical centers, and high-end commercial work. We have also secured contracts for some of Las Vegas' most opulent custom homes, taking on complex flooring installations where the labor alone topped $1 million.

Projects and Achievements

We have successfully completed numerous large-scale projects, including tower-remodel projects for MGM Design Group, such as the Mirage Hotel and Casino and the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino. These combined $8 million projects included demolition work of all existing flooring and installation of new flooring throughout both hotel towers.

Our Team and Expertise

Bernie Roybal, Jr., the founder of our company, was born in Las Vegas and has been raised by hard-working parents who were also in the flooring business. He started his own flooring company in the early 1980s and has built a reputation based on hard work, positive attitude, attention to detail, and exceptional personal service.

We use the most up-to-date estimating software computer programs available, and Bernie Roybal, Jr. personally oversees all pricing and bidding for the company. For production efficiencies, we use leading-edge processes and equipment to ensure rapid and accurate cutting of flooring goods, saving on labor and material costs. We have called in as many as 150 Journeymen and apprentice flooring professionals when needed for large jobs.
