At Rise Media Wedding Cinematography, we're a Michigan-based wedding and commercial filmmaking company that specializes in storytelling. As professional cinematographers, we pride ourselves on capturing the raw emotion of couples and delivering timeless films that can be shared and enjoyed for decades to come. Our team, led by David Plante, has over 10 years of experience in the entertainment industry, working with major productions and events, including CBS, Warner Bros, Showtime, and more.

Our Story

David Plante, our founder, has a strong production background with several ties in professional audio, video, and lighting for many major productions and events. His passion for filmmaking led him to focus on his own video projects, and in 2017, he formed Rise Media. Since then, we have shot over 200 weddings and worked on well over 1,000 projects, spanning from commercial work, business advertising, corporate expos, and more. Our team is committed to being innovators, always developing our abilities to provide the best content possible.

Meet the Team

Our team consists of David Plante, the Filmmaker and Creative Director, and Olivia Plante, the Social Media Manager and Creative Director. Olivia has been a content creator for the past 6 years, specializing in capturing and posting stories in real-time to let friends and family come along with you through the day. Together, we bring a unique approach to every project, always pushing to be more creative and reaching new heights.
