At Park Marine Base, Inc., we're proud to be your top-notch marina on Great Sacandaga Lake, serving the boating community since 1958. Our story began with Peter and Virginia Nicosia, who founded the marina with a vision to provide a dock for boaters to park their boats in the summer and a place to store them in the winter. Today, we're a family-owned and operated business, run by Mary and David Dickey, who joined the business in 1994 and took over full-time in 1998.

We offer a wide range of services to cater to all your boating needs. Our team of experienced technicians provides expert boat motor repair services, winter boat storage, and engine winterization. As a Mercury Marine Premier Service dealer, we guarantee excellent service and parts. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest diagnostic equipment to ensure your boat is serviced to perfection.

In addition to our repair services, we also have a parts and accessories store, where you can find everything you need to keep your boat running smoothly. Our knowledgeable staff is always happy to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.

Our Marina Amenities

Our marina offers a range of amenities to make your boating experience even more enjoyable. These include a sheltered boat basin with 100 slips, port-a-potties, water, and mechanic on duty six days a week. We also offer in-house fuel injector cleaning and flow testing, shore power/electric, and gas dock parking. During the winter, we provide inside and outside winter boat storage options to keep your boat safe and secure.

Our History

Park Marine Base, Inc. has a rich history that spans over 60 years. Peter and Virginia Nicosia started the marina with just five boat slips and a small supply of spark plugs. Over the years, the marina has grown and evolved, with Mary and David Dickey taking over the business in 1998. Today, we're proud to have over 100 boat and jet ski slips, and a wide range of services to cater to all your boating needs.

Meet Our Team

Our team is led by Mary and David Dickey, who are both certified Mercury Outboard and Mercruiser Technicians with over 25 years of experience in marina operations and engine repair. Mary has a degree in Civil Engineering and is a USCG veteran, while David has a degree in applied science and is also a USCG veteran. Together, they have built a team of experienced technicians and staff who are passionate about providing excellent service to our customers.
