Our Story

Foundry Tire Company has been a staple in the community since 1986, when Mike Burkholder and his wife Susan purchased the business. With a rich history dating back to the mid 1900s, Foundry Tire was initially a tire store only, but over the years, Mike and Susan expanded the business to include automotive services. Today, Foundry Tire is a 5-bay shop that prides itself on providing quality auto service with the customer's well-being as top priority.

• Tires: We offer a wide selection of tires from top brands to ensure you find the perfect fit for your vehicle.
• Vehicle Programming and Reflashing: Our team is trained to program and reflash your vehicle's computer system to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Our Team

Meet our team of experienced technicians and owners, dedicated to providing exceptional service to every customer:

• Seth Burkholder - Owner: Seth purchased Foundry Tire in 2018 from his parents, Michael and Susan Burkholder. Michael and Susan had previously owned the business since 1986. Seth's mission is to provide the region with quality automotive service and tire sales, with a focus on honesty and fairness.
• Sheldon Summers: With 23+ years of experience, Sheldon is our in-house Jeep expert and is happy to work on all makes and models. When he's not in the shop, you can find him at a dirt track race or a live sports event.
• Isaac Graham: Isaac joined the Foundry Tire team in December of 2021. With an associate's degree in Auto Mechanics from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, Isaac is passionate about working on vehicles and enjoys customizing his own vehicles in his spare time.
• Josh MacCartney: Josh joined the Foundry Tire team in November of 2021. With an associate's degree in Auto Mechanics from Universal Technical Institute, Josh is a hard worker who is willing to take on any task. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and working on his house.
• Ray Madara: Ray has been a key member of the Foundry Tire team since 1990. With over 30 years of experience, Ray is PA Safety and Emission Inspection certified and is our go-to guy for all things Volkswagen. When he's not in the shop, you can find him fishing or riding his bike.
