Initially, the company started as Environmental Designs, a small Landscaping Design and Build Company. Despite humble beginnings, the brothers worked tirelessly to build their business. In fact, they even survived on Ramen Noodles for two weeks to keep their venture afloat. Their hard work paid off when they discovered a site that would eventually become their home, Winterberry Gardens. The name "Winterberry Gardens" was inspired by the wild winterberry shrubs that grew on the site. Over the years, the company has evolved to become Connecticut's #1 Choice for Residential & Commercial Maintenance, Landscaping, Outdoor Design, Lawn Care, Irrigation & Lighting.
