Our Services

At Schaeffer Counseling Center, we offer a variety of services designed to promote mental wellness, prevent mental health issues, and support individuals in achieving their life goals. Our services include:

• Traditional Counseling: Our experienced counselors provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy to address a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, addiction, and trauma.
• Assessments: Our staff are trained to provide evidence-based assessments in areas such as depression, substance abuse, dissociation, and psychosis severity.

Coaching: Our coaches work with individuals, couples, and families to navigate life transitions, build resilience, and achieve healthy goals. Our coaching services include relationship coaching, career coaching, and parenting coaching.

• Wellness/Prevention: Our focus on wellness and prevention emphasizes stress management, self-care, and healthy living habits. We also offer smoking cessation and substance abuse assessments.

Our team of experts is dedicated to providing high-quality mental health services. Meet some of our talented professionals:

• Connie Martindale, MA LPC: Connie is a fully licensed professional counselor and play therapist specialist with extensive experience working with children, families, and relationships.
• Joseph Guajardo, MA LPC, CADC, CCS, MRT: Joe is a counselor and certified clinical supervisor with expertise in addiction treatment and mental health services.
• Jasmine Alvarado: Jasmine is a limited licensed professional counselor with a background in clinical mental health counseling and a focus on relationships, transition, and wellness.
