Since 1945, Mental Health America (MHA) Ohio has been a unwavering beacon of support for individuals and families impacted by mental illness in our community. We stand alongside those struggling with mental health challenges, offering a comprehensive array of services and resources to empower them on their journey to recovery and well-being.
Our Mission
Our mission is to advocate for the mental health needs of Ohioans, promote healthier communities, and support individuals in their recovery journeys. We work to:
- Empower individuals and families: We offer peer-led support groups, counseling services, and educational resources to empower individuals and families to take charge of their mental health.
- Advocate for change: We champion mental health awareness, dismantling stigma and advocating for improved access to quality mental healthcare.
- Promote prevention: We promote mental well-being through outreach programs, school-based initiatives, and community partnerships.
