Erie Aviation's roots can be traced back to the 1970's when the Fixed Base Operator (FBO) at the Erie Airport established an avionics repair facility. This repair facility evolved over the years, and by 1985, it had started working on batteries for commercial airliners. In 1987, the company signed its first representation agreement with a European supplier to British Aerospace (BAe) and to a fast-growing company in Europe called Airbus. Since then, Erie Aviation has become an integral part of the worldwide customer support network for many Airbus suppliers and looks after airlines across the Americas. Over the years, the company's product base has expanded to include aircraft from Boeing, ATR, Bombardier, Embraer, Fairchild-Dornier, Fokker, Jetstream, and Saab, in addition to Airbus and BAe.

Erie Aviation is located on the grounds of Erie International Airport - Tom Ridge Field, and our valued customers include:

• United States National Carriers - all the major airlines operating in the United States
• Regional and Charter - all the Regional Carriers in the United States, whether operating independently or as a feeder airline for a National Carrier, and most of the Charter airlines
• International - the major carriers based in Canada, most of the National Airlines of Latin America, and cargo carriers based in the United States
• New Aircraft - Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) and completion centers

As a manufacturer, distributor, and repair station, Erie Aviation offers a wide range of services to the aviation industry in North, Central, and South America. We are the authorized representative for several European suppliers to Airbus, Boeing, ATR, Bombardier, Embraer, Fairchild-Dornier, Fokker, Jetstream, and Saab.
