Our Story

Paul Lako's love affair with dirt began at a very early age, watching equipment and men leave the yard, and longing for the day that his turn would come. His journey took him from working for the family business to landing a job as a Dozer and Blade operator for a major excavating company in St. Cloud, MN. After four years of gaining experience and knowledge, Paul found his way back to Arthur, ND, and established Lako Excavating as a professional excavation service company. Today, Paul's values of hard work, honesty, and respect are instilled in his team of employees, and reflected in the quality of work we deliver.
