Lake Tahoe School is the premier, fully accredited, independent PreK through 8th grade school in northern Nevada and the Tahoe Basin. Our mission is to create a joyful and academically challenging learning environment that echoes the wonder of Lake Tahoe, cultivates community, and sparks personal discovery that leads to an extraordinary future for every student.

At Lake Tahoe School, we offer a wide range of services designed to support the academic, social, and emotional growth of our students. Our programs include:

• Academic Excellence: We are committed to delivering an engaging, joyful learning experience that will inspire a lifelong love of learning and foster high-level, critical thinking skills as students mature. Our curriculum is designed to challenge students academically and encourage them to explore their interests and passions.

• Creative Expression: We encourage student self-expression and celebrate students' creative achievements throughout the curriculum. Our programs include Science, MakerSpace, visual arts, music classes, and a rich array of extracurricular activities that provide our students with unique opportunities to experiment, create, and perform.

• Physical Exploration: The Tahoe Basin is our classroom for outdoor, adventure learning, and sports programs that link to a comprehensive physical education curriculum, developing sound bodies as well as sound minds.

Our SEL program is designed to help students develop self-awareness, self-regulation, and relationship skills that are essential for success in academics and life.

• Ski Program: We offer a ski program that allows our students to enjoy the beautiful ski resorts in the Tahoe Basin while developing their skiing and snowboarding skills.

• Summer Camps: Our summer camps provide a fun and engaging environment for our students to learn new skills, make friends, and enjoy outdoor activities during the summer break.
