Perspective Charter School

At Perspectives Charter Schools, we are committed to providing a holistic education that prepares students for success in a changing world. Our network of five open-enrollment middle and high schools on Chicago's Southside has been serving public school students in grades 6-12 for over twenty years. We believe that every student deserves a rigorous and relevant education, and we are dedicated to providing a well-rounded education that combines academic rigor, social emotional learning, and experiential opportunities.

Our Approach

Our education model, A Disciplined Life, is based on 26 principles that teach students to have positive self-perception, healthy relationships, and the tools for productivity. We believe that this foundation is essential for students to succeed in academics, personal relationships, and their future careers. Our college prep curriculum leverages instruction and personalized learning, and students can take advantage of certification programs, career development, and early college credit. We also use the city as a classroom, providing students with field studies, community action initiatives, and career shadowing opportunities to gain skills, confidence, and insight.

Our Campuses

We have five campuses located in three neighborhoods on Chicago's Southside: Bronzeville, South Loop, and Chatham. Each campus offers a unique and supportive learning environment, with dedicated teachers and staff who are committed to helping students succeed. Our campuses include Perspectives/IIT Math & Science Academy, Rodney D. Joslin Campus, Perspectives Middle Academy, Perspectives High School of Technology, and Perspectives Leadership Academy.
