Welcome to Dynamic Minds Tutoring, a dedicated team of experienced professional tutors who are passionate about helping students succeed in math and science. Our tutors all hold at least a bachelor's degree with a high GPA and are dedicated to providing personalized tutoring sessions that cater to each student's unique needs.

At Dynamic Minds Tutoring, we believe that every student has the potential to excel in math and science. However, we understand that the traditional classroom setting can often leave students feeling overwhelmed and struggling to keep up. This is why we offer one-on-one tutoring sessions that focus on bridging gaps in knowledge, building speed, increasing understanding and retention, connecting concepts, and solidifying math foundations.

Our tutors are patient, dedicated, and always ready to find new and creative ways to explain complex topics. We believe in polishing basic skills and helping students draw connections between different math and science topics to build interest and mastery.

Our Background

Our team consists of experienced tutors who are passionate about math and science. Aurora Craig-McBride, the owner, has a bachelor of science degree in Biology and Psychology with a 4.0 GPA. She founded Dynamic Minds Learning because she loves learning how people learn and watching her students gain both confidence and skills.

David Bennecke, one of our tutors, has a triple major in math, physics, and engineering. He has a deep love for math and science and is excellent at tutoring high school and college level math, including Calculus, Differential Equations, Trigonometry, and Linear Algebra. He also knows Physics inside and out and can tutor introductory Chemistry.

Christian Fowler, another member of our team, has a bachelor's degree in applied mathematics and is currently pursuing a master's degree in the same field. He is great at explaining Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus in a way that is accessible to all students.

How Tutoring Works

In a traditional classroom setting, the teacher is often focused on the lesson plan that they must get through that day, leaving little time for questions. With one-on-one tutoring, the tutor is 100% focused on the individual student. Each lesson is customized to their unique needs, and we don't move on until the student understands.

Classroom instruction frequently leaves gaps in understanding, which only compound with time as math and science build upon previous concepts. In a tutoring session, we seek out and correct these gaps, building a solid foundation for the student to launch from. It is amazing to watch struggling students become motivated, confident learners!
