Paragon Gallery

Paragon Art Gallery, located in the heart of historic downtown Crested Butte, Colorado, is an artist cooperative established in 1979. Our gallery features an ever-evolving display of diverse artwork created by 14 local artist members and 2 rotating guest artist displays. We are proud to showcase the talents of our members, who work in a variety of mediums, including painting, ceramics, stained glass, wood carving, calligraphy, jewelry making, and more.

Our Mission

At Paragon Art Gallery, our mission is to provide a platform for local artists to showcase their work, connect with the community, and inspire others through their creativity. We believe that art has the power to bring people together, foster creativity, and enrich the lives of those who experience it. Through our exhibitions, workshops, and events, we strive to promote artistic expression, appreciation, and education in the Crested Butte community.

Our Community

Paragon Art Gallery is deeply committed to giving back to the community that has supported us for over 40 years. We donate 1% of our profits to Open Space, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and protecting the natural beauty of Crested Butte. We also participate in the Crested Butte Creative District and donate to the Crested Butte Community School art programs. By supporting local artists and organizations, we hope to contribute to the rich cultural heritage of our community.

The Paragon People's Fair

Every Labor Day weekend, we host The Paragon People's Fair, a non-juried arts and crafts festival that has been a beloved tradition in Crested Butte for over 39 years. The festival features local and regional artists, live music, food vendors, and activities for all ages. We invite you to join us for a weekend of creativity, community, and fun in the beautiful setting of downtown Crested Butte.
