Novel Iron Works, Inc. is a family-owned and operated structural steel fabricator that has been serving the New England market for over six decades. Our commitment to our customers and our dedication to providing the highest quality products and services have made us a trusted name in the industry. Founded in 1956 by Ralph Noveletsky, Novel Iron Works has been operating under the leadership of the Noveletsky family for over 60 years. From our humble beginnings in Malden, Massachusetts, we have grown into a state-of-the-art facility located directly on Rt 95 in Greenland, New Hampshire. Our 26-acre facility is equipped with the latest fabrication techniques, including Computerized Estimating, 3-D Detailing, and direct download automation, which has enabled us to expand our client base throughout New England as well as New York State.

Our Services

At Novel Iron Works, we specialize in the fabrication and erection of structural steel, steel joist, metal deck, and miscellaneous metals. We offer complete packages that include all of these components, as well as your choice of open shop, prevailing wage, or union erection crews. Our experienced Estimating Department guarantees timely bids with competitive pricing, and our Certified American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) ensures that our products meet the highest quality standards. Our On-Time Delivery is made possible by our 5,000-ton stock yard, 8 Wheel Shot Blast Machine, a multitude of computer-controlled equipment, and a fleet of over 50 trailers.

Fabrication

Detailing

Our Detailing Project Management Department oversees and coordinates all phases of the project from fabrication to erection. We use SDS/2 software to track changes, revisions, specialty items, galvanized items, steel members on hold, etc. by running various reports. Our experienced team of detailers works closely with our clients to ensure that all aspects of the project are accurately represented and that the final product meets the highest quality standards.

Project Management

Our Project Engineering and Management Department oversees and coordinates all phases of the project from fabrication to erection. We have a fully staffed Estimating Department with over 225 years of combined experience. We are committed to providing our clients with a complete package, from budgeting to bid estimates, and we have the expertise and resources to deliver the highest quality products on time and on budget.
