Our Story

Wilkerson Aircraft Tires celebrated 75 years in business in 2022. The company was founded by Buster Wilkerson, who had a humble beginning in the car and truck retreading industry. His son, Bill Wilkerson Sr., was inspired to become an airline pilot and began the aircraft tire retreading regulatory process. Over the years, the company has grown and expanded, becoming a fourth-generation family-owned business.

Today, we are proud to serve a wide range of customers, from airlines with 200 aircraft to private pilots. We understand the importance of providing personalized attention and service to each and every customer. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that every customer experiences the Wilkerson Difference.

Our Services

At Wilkerson Aircraft Tires, we offer a variety of services to meet the needs of our customers. Our main services include:

• Regional Airline Tires: We are the leading tire supplier for the regional airline market. We stock a wide selection of new Goodyear and Dunlop aircraft tires and Wilkerson Retreads. Our industry-leading R&D, NDI tire testing, quality control, special processes, and results-based data analysis ensure the highest levels of quality and performance.

• General Aviation and Specialty Tires: We understand the needs of private pilots and offer retread tires that benefit from the same technology used for regional airline tires. We also stock new tires in most common GA aircraft sizes.

• Aerial Agriculture Tires: Our aerial ag tires are made using the same quality of rubber materials and processes used for airline retreads. They are compounded for extended tread-life, meaning more productivity between changes. We offer new tires, innertubes, and retreads, making us your one-stop-shop.

• Tire Maintenance Solutions: We provide solutions that increase tire performance, such as EQUAL balancing material, Accuflate hot tire inflation gauge, and data reporting that increases maintenance quality.
